Bhargavi grew up watching children be taught to sit still. To stay quiet. To learn from books what they could have learned from rivers, trees, and the texture of real soil in their hands. It bothered her in a way she couldn't name for a long time. Then one day, watching a child ignore a perfectly good plastic toy to instead examine a fallen leaf with complete and total fascination — she understood. Children do not need to be taught wonder. They arrive full of it. They only need someone to protect it.
She started with nothing except that conviction and a small group of children who needed somewhere to be themselves. What grew from that first small space became Prakriti Ecoplay — an eco playschool built on wooden toys, open skies, and the radical belief that nature is the most sophisticated teacher there has ever been. The same children who played in the eco classroom needed a stage. And then a colour palette. And then a space to laugh without being told to be serious. And then someone to capture those real, honest moments before they disappeared. And then more — always more.
Nine worlds later — each one born from listening to what children and young people actually needed rather than what the system said they should have — Bhargavi is still that same person with that same feeling. That something important should not be taken from children. And she will keep building worlds to protect it. Now, with a team that believes the same thing.
